BeTik Privacy Policy
Corporate notice for BeTik users about data processing, local record storage, advertising technologies and contact processes.
This Privacy Policy explains how personal data, device data and in-app records are processed in the Android phone and Wear OS watch versions of the BeTik mobile application provided by Ormeis.
BeTik is a tracking and reminder application developed to help parents and adult caregivers follow baby care routines.

2. Purpose of the application
BeTik helps track feeding, breastfeeding, formula, sleep, diaper, height-weight, medication/supplement, vaccination, doctor visit and care reminders.
The application works to organize records entered by the user and show reminders configured by the user.
3. The application is not directed to children
BeTik is not designed for direct use by children.
The target users are parents, legal guardians and adult caregivers. Users enter information about the baby into the application under their own responsibility.
4. Medical disclaimer
BeTik is not a medical device.
The application does not diagnose, recommend treatment, claim to cure or prevent diseases, and does not replace professional medical advice.
For all decisions about medication, supplements, vaccination, treatment, nutrition or your baby's health, you should consult your doctor or a qualified healthcare professional.
5. Data entered into the application by the user
BeTik may store the following records manually entered by the user on the device:
- Baby profile information
- Date of birth
- Gender or theme preference
- Height and weight records
- Breastfeeding and formula records
- Sleep records
- Diaper records
- Medication and supplement records
- Vaccination tracking
- Doctor visit notes
- Care reminders
- Application settings
- Alarm and notification preferences
By default, these records are not sent to Ormeis servers and are not viewed remotely by Ormeis.
6. Local data storage
BeTik records are stored in the local application database on the device.
The application does not provide a user account or cloud synchronization system. Pairing/synchronization features between phone and Wear OS watch may be used to show selected care status and alarm information between the user's own paired devices.
7. Advertising and third-party SDK use
BeTik uses Google AdMob ads to support its free usage model.
The Google Mobile Ads SDK may process certain data for ad display, ad performance, fraud prevention, security and measurement purposes.
This data may include:
- IP address
- Approximate location inference
- Advertising ID
- App interactions
- Device or app identifiers
- Diagnostics and performance information
This data is processed by Google under its own privacy policies and terms of service.
8. Consent and advertising preferences
In the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, Switzerland and other regions required by applicable law, Google UMP SDK or an equivalent consent management flow may be used for advertising and personalization preferences.
Users in eligible regions may change ad personalization preferences through in-app privacy options or device/Google ad settings.
9. Permissions
BeTik may request certain Android permissions to provide its core functions.
These permissions may be used for the following purposes:
- Sending notifications
- Showing reminders set by the user
- Opening the alarm screen
- Playing sound, vibration or foreground services during alarms
- Providing basic synchronization with a Wear OS device
BeTik does not request location, camera, microphone, contacts, SMS, call logs or broad file access for its core function.
If any of these permissions are added in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated.
10. Data sharing
Care records manually entered into BeTik by the user are not sold, rented or transferred to third parties for marketing purposes by Ormeis.
However, third-party SDKs integrated into the application, such as Google AdMob, may process device and usage data to provide their own services.
This processing is limited to ad display, measurement, security and fraud prevention purposes.
11. Data security
BeTik stores local records inside the Android application area.
Data transferred off-device by third-party SDKs is processed with the relevant providers' security mechanisms and encrypted transfer methods.
However, no digital system can guarantee absolute security.
12. Data deletion
Users can delete profiles and records using deletion options inside the application.
Uninstalling the application from the device also removes the application data stored on the device.
Because BeTik does not create a user account or centrally stored care record on Ormeis servers, there is no separate user account data for Ormeis to delete remotely.
Advertising ID and Google advertising preferences can be managed through device and Google settings.
13. Data retention period
Local records entered by the user remain on the device until the user deletes them or uninstalls the application.
Ormeis does not store these records on a central server.
Data processed by Google AdMob is subject to Google's own retention and privacy practices.
14. Policy changes
This Privacy Policy may be updated when application features, advertising integration, permissions, SDKs or legal requirements change.
